Coil Spring Conversion Kits
While air suspension provides a smooth ride with load leveling capabilities, it is not without fault. As a vehicle ages, the air suspension components will eventually need to be replaced. But which should you choose: New or Remanufactured Replacement Parts, or Traditional Coil Springs?
If your vehicle is older or experiencing a multitude of air system issues, a coil spring conversion kit (also known as a delete kit) may be the way to go. Arnott offers coil spring conversion Kits which are meant to replace a vehicle’s air suspension system. All of our coil springs are built with US steel and have been expertly designed with reliability and a great ride in mind. And installation couldn’t be easier – No vehicle modifications like welding required!
On the other hand, if you’re vehicle is being used to carry or tow heavy loads, coil springs may not be for you. Coil conversion kits do not retain the auto-leveling functionality found in air suspension. Auto-leveling adjusts the ride height and is essential for these situations. Without it, there can be sagging which can cause the headlights to aim in the wrong direction as well as decreased handling.
